Diane Watson is an acrylic artist based in Santa Barbara, California. She is best known for her fresh, abstract depictions of flowers painted on wooden boards.

 

Energized by the spontaneous nature of wildflower gardens, she maintains the intrinsic wildness of her subjects by freely placing each brush stroke and mark. She represents flowers in various forms, inspired by the California florals that she encounters in her daily life.

             

Her works are colorful and bold, instantaneously uplifting the spaces that they are displayed in.
